The battle against Vanica is over but Charlotte， Rill， and Gaja are at death's door。 But that's fine because we have another character who can fix it。。。 This series has literally stacked the deckNow on the the Zenon fight where。。。 again MORE FLASHBACKS and other characters rushing in to save the day （not really） at the last minute。 Not to mention Yuno's exponential power creep。 Seriously， he's got a four leaf clover grimoire， he's a spirit host， he's the reincarnation of an elf prince， he's the The battle against Vanica is over but Charlotte， Rill， and Gaja are at death's door。 But that's fine because we have another character who can fix it。。。 This series has literally stacked the deckNow on the the Zenon fight where。。。 again MORE FLASHBACKS and other characters rushing in to save the day （not really） at the last minute。 Not to mention Yuno's exponential power creep。 Seriously， he's got a four leaf clover grimoire， he's a spirit host， he's the reincarnation of an elf prince， he's the long-lost prince of the Spade Kingdom， and now。。。 Are you sure he's not the Wizard King already？Then there's the weird jumble in the last three chapters where all the Black Bulls come to rescue Yami （flashbacks included of course） and end up punching a giant demon with the Mecha-Castle-Bull。 It is glorious。 It's these little moments （and my desire to actually 100% the series） that keep me reading。 。。。more

DAMN！ This story is so good！ I hope the Black Triad stuff ends in the next Volume though。。。 getting a bit drawn out。Highlights:- Rill， Charlotte， and Gadjah pass out after helping save Lolopechka。 They are revived and healed by Mimosa， who joins the battle。- Yuno and Langris square off against Zenon Zogratis。 Despite hating Yuno for passing him in ranking， he sees Yuno's power and defends him from Zenon， admitting Yuno deserves the title of Vice Captain。 - As Yuno's spell penetrates Zenon's ches DAMN！ This story is so good！ I hope the Black Triad stuff ends in the next Volume though。。。 getting a bit drawn out。Highlights:- Rill， Charlotte， and Gadjah pass out after helping save Lolopechka。 They are revived and healed by Mimosa， who joins the battle。- Yuno and Langris square off against Zenon Zogratis。 Despite hating Yuno for passing him in ranking， he sees Yuno's power and defends him from Zenon， admitting Yuno deserves the title of Vice Captain。 - As Yuno's spell penetrates Zenon's chest， we get a flashback seeing how he originally made the deal with Beelzebub。 Because he had asked for a demon's heart， he is able to heal himself from the attack。 - Finral joins Langris in the Mana Zone and they fight back， while also protecting Yuno as he recovers。- Yuno reconnects with his heritage， truly adopting his place as the Heir of House Grinberryall and gains a second grimoire， now able to use Star Magic， in addition to his Wind Magic。- Continuing to attack， Yuno reaches near 100% resonance with Wind Spirit Sylph and reaches Saint Stage， being able to finish off Zenon。- Moris， the magic scholar of the Diamond Kingdom， has bonded with Lucifero， after the demon left a defeated Dante Zogratis。 As long as he has Yami and Vangeance， he will be able to continue to open levels of Hell。- Gauche， Grey， Gordon， Vanessa， and Henry arrives in the mech version of the Black Bulls House and work towards saving Captain Yami。- We get a flashback about Yami and his work before becoming a Captain。- Basically the entire house of the Black Bulls， along with several prominent magic users work together to fight Lucifero directly to save Yami。Another amazing Volume。 Definitely want to try to catch up on the anime now。 Strong recommend。 。。。more

While I have really been enjoying this arc， and it's great to see so many characters getting their time to shine， I can't help but notice how formulaic Black Clover is。 It's not a bad thing per se， and I am a sucker for pure shounen series， but I'm hoping something shocking happens by the end of this arc to turn this series on its head。I still love the panels showing all of the Black Bulls together racing to go save Yami。 That made my heart twinge a bit。 While I have really been enjoying this arc， and it's great to see so many characters getting their time to shine， I can't help but notice how formulaic Black Clover is。 It's not a bad thing per se， and I am a sucker for pure shounen series， but I'm hoping something shocking happens by the end of this arc to turn this series on its head。I still love the panels showing all of the Black Bulls together racing to go save Yami。 That made my heart twinge a bit。 。。。more
